September 1st 2017, Charlotta Gandolfo soft launched her eponymous brand. It was an immediate success and the first collection sold out already the first evening at the opening event. Today, it’s sold in high end fashion boutiques around the globe, as well as in the world’s most exclusive resorts.
The collection blends sophistication with laissez-faire for an exclusive yet unpretentious style in warm climates. The versatile day-to-night concept in luxurious materials allows internationally minded women to pack light and still know that they have just the right outfit at the beach, party or that spontaneous dinner with friends of friends in Sanya, St Tropez or St Barths.
About the design: Scandinavian Resort Wear
Founder and Creative Director Charlotta Gandolfo has travelled the world and she has lived on three continents. She grew up in Europe, was educated in North America and has spent the past decade as a senior executive traveling across Asia with a base in Shanghai. Her designs incorporate elements from her adventures across Asia, the Riviera, the Orient and the Americas. Despite this, her items never come across as ethnic or over the top. The cultural merge of colors and influences are tightly pulled together by her Scandinavian heritage, that gives all of her items a clean, minimalistic and very chic feel.
This gives Charlotta Gandolfo a unique perspective on resort wear, a category which to its core is distinctively non-Nordic. Her items stand out and are easily spotted due to the consistent choice of colors and fabrics, as well as it’s style: true international appeal, but with a clear Scandinavian underpinning that defines all her items and takes them far beyond the resort.
Her collections are the result of her journey taking the road less traveled.
